You’re invited into the wardrobe into a wintery world of magic, where both danger and delights await.

As you step into the winter wonderland, you become aware that someone nearby is burning a fire to keep warm. Bold notes of wood and pine birch drift by. You seek out the warmth, even as you marvel at the snow drenched balsam fir trees surrounding you on every side.

The smoky smell of the fireplace leads you to the Beaver family home, where you eagerly drink black tea among new friends. Warmth floods all the way to your toes as wafts of lemon drenched tea leaves, bergamot and violet surround you.

You are warned by the Beavers that there is a witch about, who lures children in with Turkish delight, a sweet sugary treat to ensnare their senses. You promise you won’t be tricked, and the Beaver family offers you something better- a brown sugar cobbler of cool blackberries, raspberries and topped off with creamy vanilla and warm honey.

There is much left to explore, but the cold can wait. As you drift off to sleep by their fireplace, they tell you stories about a Lion, who is not safe but is good indeed. You long to meet him, he sounds so lovely. But first, a nap...
